It's always interesting to hear othe...Hi, Ella. It's always interesting to hear other people's perspectives. Personally, I've always sympathized with Catherine, not Diane. Catherine idolized and adored her husband. To lose Chenonceau to the same woman who had already stolen her husband's love (and who already had many other estates) always seemed to me to be beyond cruel. Also, I should have mentioned that although she had no legal obligation to do so, Catherine gave Diane a much bigger and more valuable castle to replace Chenonceau.
