I absolutely hate reading a historical novel with lousy research whether it is location, language, clothing, and/or day to day life. One of my pet peeves is reading a novel taking place with the flora and fauna wrong. A magnolia tree blooming in winter with a temperature of 30 deg. is just one example.
Good luck on your books. BTW, I going back to Scotland next summer.Rubyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04269608145903301622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861175623849452396.post-7589978621936344592011-11-05T12:20:59.460-04:002011-11-05T12:20:59.460-04:00Great comments, guys. The movement of these two plates has bought the land masses together.

The Iapetus Ocean was the embryonic Atlantic Ocean. Geologists took the name Iapetus from mythology, for a clever reason. The Atlantic takes its name from Atlas in mythology. And Iapetus was the name of the father of Atlas.John Webbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02966938808921010638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861175623849452396.post-64107560928510206532011-11-04T22:48:49.050-04:002011-11-04T22:48:49.050-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Giveaway Scouthttp://www.giveawayscout.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861175623849452396.post-1562339053630038742011-11-04T17:31:04.582-04:002011-11-04T17:31:04.582-04:00I had no idea that Scotland had earthquakes and fo...I had no idea that Scotland had earthquakes and found your post fascinating.
