Lol I loved those books as a kid, they helped my early interest in History become realised.
I didn't know there was a TV show now!

I found a really cool series out of Great Britain. It's called "Supersizers Go...". I think there was another one before it called "Supersizers Eat...". It's a combination eating/history program. They are available on Youtube, or I've seen them om The Cooking Channel (I never even knew there was a cooking channel until I ran into this show while surfing.). Here's a sample :

That's hilarious, not least for the Gregg and John look-a-likes from MasterChef! This is a great way to learn the more obscure facts of history.
